To provide the world's leading corporations with continuous, real-time data on Internet trends and activities, comScore Networks relies heavily on recruiting Internet users to become members who will allow their surfing to be tracked and recorded. To recruit members for one of the company's leading sub-brands, Permission Research, we developed the visual identity and online rollout for their "Trees for Knowledge" campaign. comScore pledged to plant a tree for each new signup. We created a microsite landing page for the campaign, a Flash counter to track planted trees, a tree certificate for new members which auto-filled the member's name, and online banner advertising which has resulted in more than 2 million new members (and trees) so far.
